Anyone have any experience with this exhaust?

They have complete systems with 3.5" slip-ons and 4" slip-ons. What would each size do for sound and performance? Also, if the AF remained stock, do you all think a tuner would be needed?

Thanks.

Do u know what the baffle sizes are in those slip on mufflers? I had 2.5" baffles and it was hard to tune out the backfiring. Didnt backfire often but enough to drive me nuts. Embarrassing too. So i went down to 2" baffles and she runs alot better. FM recommended 2 or 2.25" baffles after i removed my cat. They were right. I auto tuned with PV2.

Hi msquad-
The 3.5 will be quieter than the '4. By "complete system" do you mean you have the head pipes too?
If not my suggestion would be the 3.5 slip-ons and a VIED to richen your A/F ratio from Nightrider

This would be the most economical solution, if you like a louder sound, go for the '4 slip-ons.

That Rinehart system is complete with head pipes too. But I think I'm liking Jackpot 2/1/2 Steel Plasma Ceramic (SPC) Coated Head Pipes and their slip-ons too. Again I would stick with the stock air filter but yes, sounds like going with a VIED is a good idea but if I get the above from Fuel Moto they would probably suggest something else.

I did a complete review of my Rinehart Slimline Duals. I will add the link below.

Currently I am not running a tuner with this exhaust. I did not notice a performance loss at all. I plan to purchase the remaining parts of the Stage 1 upgrade early next month.

I would like to add to my review that the exhaust has increased in loudness since the install. The sound has only improved in my opinion. I can still hear my stereo at highway speeds yet everyone around can hear my bike coming down the road.

Well that's what we need honest opinions of what works. Happy you got what you were looking for and when you complete the stage 1 let us know if it's running better or not.

Virdoc thanks. Sound like this exhaust is at the top of my list as a contender. I don't care to change me air filter, just looking to get exhaust so this may be the way to go.

So you have no backfire/popping at all on decel without a tuner?

Thanks.

Every now and then it will backfire during deceleration. But not that bad at all.

I am eager to see if the rest of the stage 1 upgrade makes a really big difference.
