Good morning all.

I am looking to brighten the lighting at the stock locations of my SG. I want bright and eye-catching without breaking the bank and adding on any new item, losing the stock look.

Any recommendations for plug and play that will brighten the rear and something that will really standout during all times of day is what I am seeking. A quality (bright lighting/tested tough) product is what I am looking for. What do you think I will spend and where is the best place to purchase this item? Also, if you could suggest the next best option (beyond this one), a price, and the place to purchase this item.

Thanks!

FLHX14,
I started by adding led bulbs to the stock housing. Brightened it up some but I really like to be seen. So I added Plasma Rods in between the bags and it really lit it up well with out altering the stock look in My opinion.

I used Custom Dynamics bulbs and rods you can see what it will look loke on their web site and their CS is good at helping you when you call.

Easy install think you should be able to get the whole set up for around $200.00.

Thanks
Greg

I added the Harley tribar brake light and Arlen Ness LED break lights with the fire ring

Thanks Greg. I will check out their site.

FLHX14,
Give them a call there's lots of options on them as well like flashing on Braking etc. They are a wealth of knowledge and don't seem to mind your picking their brain for info. I also found it nice they make an adapter that fits in the stock harness and allows you to tap into it with out having to splice into the factory harness so if something goes bad you can remove it all with out affecting the factory wiring.

You could add the Electra Glo LED Saddlebag Run/Brake/Turn Lamp, about $230 but you can find used on Ebay cheaper. I had them on mine but took them off when I put on stretched bags....I might even be talked into selling them for the right price.

I spoke to a woman today at Custom Dynamics. I purchased the pulsing brake light and a set of their LED replacement bulbs. I hope I am happy and the install goes as easy as it sounds it should. Thanks to all for the recommendations!

IMG_1800.jpg. I removed the stock lights, filled in all the holes , lowered the license plate and installed Custom Dynamics flat LED panels, wired them to the stock wiring.
