Re-map for different intake

So I got my bike back a few weeks ago and over the winter I had a shop install a new headpipe, cams and intake. They used the power vision tuner on it as well. Well they didn't put the proper intake that I wanted on it. They put a stage 1 air cleaner on under the stock housing, supposed to order the correct intake but after waiting 2+ weeks with no word or contact I have just written them off and given up. My question is if I opt for a heavy breather kit now will I have to get it re-mapped or will it be fine as it is?

If you were tuned and mapped for a stage 1, I would yes. But it depends on the the cfm, if it's hi flow it should be close.

I would work it out with the dealer or use the Power Vision auto tune feature to adjust for a new intake.

I've been over this with several dealers and even my performance mechanic and they all tell me its not needed. I have decatted my headpipe, installed V&H's Twin Slash, Screamin Eagle intake and took it to the dealer. They plugged it into their Digital Technician and told me it didn't need re-flashing. I'd also heard re-flashing only resets the A:F ratio to EPA standards. With after-market tuners, you can customize based on your preferences.
