I just bought an unpainted Lower Fairing. I have to get it either vinyl wrapped or painted Big Blue Pearl. Anyone did this? If so, how much was it?

Vinyl wrapped? What is that?

Vinyl wrapping is an alternative to painting where you literally wrap your part with vinyl. If u ever seen a bike or car totally chromed out, thats vinyl. I was thinking covering my lower fairing with chrome vinyl. But I still havent decided which route to go yet.

My wife does vinyl lettering and car graphics. The issue with vinyl is that it is not as durable as clear coat or for that matter automotive paint. It will scratch easy and good luck trying to wax or buff a scratch out of vinyl. You try scrubbing bugs off it and your in trouble.

Thanks Buckshot85. The quotes i got so far for installation is crazy high. Its not something I would like to do every year. I was just trying to do something different that no one has done yet. Thanks for your reply

Buckshot85- Oh, A married couple in our HOG Chapter has a business that does that. I didn't know people wrapped their fairings in that.
