Need some help on best solution, ordered the 23 inch wheel and fender to accommodate that. Having the new 2014 street glide special charcoal pearl, I know matching that paint won't be easy. Taking it to HD to have fender painted or what is the best option, can any body shop match the paint? thanks

You can order the paint from HD. I got a quart for about $120 give or take. It does take forever to come in though. Took about 6 weeks for me. I did this in Sierra Vista. Go to Chesters up there in Mesa and they should help you out. Same owner as SV Harley and Tucson Harley

Ask your HD dealer they have to have someone doing there paint jobs.

Thx guys, kind of what I thought, just wasn't too sure there was some secret trick I wasn't aware of.

go to www.color-rite.com. i worked at a honda moto shop and that's where our painter got all the paint we used for crash repairs. matched perfect every time, and a lot less money that using the dealer.

I was talking to a guy with a 23 " on his SGS that he bought from dealer new and he showed me where the finder was dented where this tree nailed the fender at a hard stop .

14s come with light oil in forks if I Where you I would change to a heavier fork oil if your going with a 23"

Just a suggestion ---- if I went through the trouble of tricking my bike I sure wouldn't want to have to fix the sh** because of a easy oil swap
