Hello, I have a 2013 SG that I picked up a few weeks ago, previous owner put a VH x-pipe, but left the stock mufflers. I am not happy with the sound at all. I want that classic Harley sound. Looking for a deep rumble and fairly loud.

I've done some research, listened to some videos, but have some questions.

1) Which slip on would you recommend?
2) What baffle size?
3) What size? 4", 4.5"?

Thank you for your help and suggestions!

I replaced the stock mufflers with 4.5 from RC Exhaust. I'm not sure what size the baffles are but I like the sound.

15 SGS Amber Whiskey; ThunderMax tuner; Ceramic True Duel headers; 4.5 inch RC Exhaust slip ons ;LED turn signals/ run lights; passenger backrest; one inch passenger and rider floorboard extensions;stage one air cleaner. 4 point docking system; air wing.

I would go minimum of 4" and a good bet on mufflers is Vance and Hines. Twin Slash Rounds have the sound going on and are relatively inexpensive. There are several other models in their lineup that sound good as well.
Other makers such as Cobra offer a nice sounding muff at a reasonable price.
Check out the big box stores for upcoming fall sales.
Listen to sound samples on YouTube and wherever you see a Harley to get some ideas
