I am installing 12" Yaffe MB's soon on my 2015. Thanks to Spazz and others, I'm feeling pretty confident about pulling it off. I do have one question regarding the molex connector on the throttle sensor. I know the green connector is an issue when it comes to pulling the wires through the bars so I was looking at getting the 32310-08 as others have suggested. On the HD website one reviewer mentioned that this will not work on 2014 and later because molex plug that comes with the kit is a female, and the plug on the newer models is a female as well. He mentioned having to cutoff the old plug and splice on a new one to make it work.( Not sure what plugs he was talking about). My question is couldn't you just use the stock male connector on the new sensor wires that is removed to get the stock wires out? It's a 6 pin molex plug just a male not female. Aren't they the same otherwise? Any info would be appreciated.. Thx.

Using my recent experience with installing my twin peaks bars, it is a lot easier to cut the connectors off the tbw cable and solder them together. Just make sure you heat shrink each individual wire before you wrap the whole bundle. It makes pulling the wires through a lot easier and you don't have to worry about the green plug coming apart or breaking. Just my input here.

D94, the technique you are asking about is cutting out the green connecter assy all together and soldering the wires, you could do what you are suggesting, but that would require you to reverse both ends of the green receptacles (upper and lower harness ends). most would rather do a single solder repair than two of them.

My suggestion is, take your time removing the harness from the stock bars, use a lot of LUBE, duct tape as much of the wire connectors that you can to minimize the chance of pulling a wire out of the connector, then use more lube, removing the harness from the stock bars sucks and the lower bend in the bar is where the issues are. you will get frustrated and want to just rip them out. Spazz gives some good advice on this also. patience is the key.

by the way, a new TPS upper and lower harness assy with molex connectors cost about $175. I ripped that sh$t right out of the bars, I didn't have patience and it cost me. Get the NAMS wire extension too, this will save time and frustration as well.

IF you tape the green connector VERY TIGHT with elect. tape... you won't pull it apart... this is what I did. Wire Lube and patience my friend....

Thx all. I was able to contact another forum member who explained to me that on the kit 32310-08 it's the 6 pins that have to be changed to work with the 14 and up. He said that his tech swapped out the pins and he was able to use his stock connector all is well.. Big thx to Kosi for the tip!
Ordered my bars and extensions today, gonna give a shot this weekend. Lube'em up and send'em in hope all works. If not at least I know I have an option. Thx again boys....

I am doing the same thing on my '14 SG. I bought the 32310-08 to do away with the green plug. I thought I would just have to change out the plugs . The factory harness on the bike has a male plug. The new TGS kit also came with a male plug. I bought a set of female terminals to change out the wires on the TGS , but I don't have a female plug? Any idea where to get a plug or suggestions how to fix?

I just pulled the stock harness through some Yaffe bars and it wasn't a big deal. I taped up the end and attached a wire snake made from welding wire. Make a loop in the end of the wire and tape it a couple inches up from the end. That puts the pulling force on the wire, not the connector.

Make a loop in the other end of the wire.

Make a hook out of a heavier piece of wire. You'll use this to grab the loop on the lighter wire to pull it past the peak in the bars.

Push the lighter snake wire from the center of the bars through until it bottoms out at the peak of the bars. There's no way you'll get it past the peak. Now take the other wire with the hook in it and go in through the end of the bar and fish around. Move the small fish fish wire around while at the same time trying to hook it with the hook. Maybe grab a small flashlight and look through the end of the bar. I didn't. I just fished around and was able to hook on in a few minutes.

Next, pull the fish wire and push the cable until the plugs reach the peak. If the plugs don't want to pass the peak, work them from the end of the bar with a long poker while applying a little pressure on the fish wire and pushing on the cable. It takes 3 hands. Once the plugs are past the peak, they have to be pulled up through the milled slot in the bar. Then install the throttle and pull those wires through the milled slot. Connect the connectors and pull the cable back toward the center of the bars, working the cable into the bars through the milled slot.

Biggest thing is don't force it. Just work it gently. I didn't use cable lube, but like Spazz said, that would help a lot.
