My first Harley was an 05 Fatboy SE with the V&H Pro pipe, and I loved that sound it had. Sort of like a 67 big block Corvette with side pipes. My current bike is a 2010 SG SE with stock SE mufflers and a de-cat head pipe. What is the best way to get that nice deep rumble/bark without going too loud? Would Rinehart mufflers do the job? I don't want to go to a single pipe since my SE bags have cut outs on each side.
Thanks

Rinehart or Bassani......my neighbor has Bassani pipes and his bike sounds really nice....it does sound like older Corvette with side pipes......I have heard Rinehart also and they sound just as good.

I have CFR slip ons with S&S Headers and the sound is BASS, nice deep rumble and it really barks when you roll on it.

I put the 4 in Rinehart slip ons on my bike and it was still pretty quiet. The head pipes (slimline duals)should be here this week.Hopefully that gives it a little rumble.

Vance & Hines oversize 450s. Deep rumble and they look great under the bags!

What an insult to HD saying it sounds like a chevy..... No chevy will ever sound this good.

Larger diameter pipes will have a lower tone, deeper, small diameter pipes will have a higher tone and a staccato to them, nature of the beast.

+1 on the Vance and Hines OS 450s. Have them paired with power duals. Deep, loud, but I can still listen to my radio.
