I have read a ton of info on LED headlights recently, but haven't come across any reviews or hands on feedback on this one. From the info I can find, it looks like it specs out with higher lumens and slightly lower amperage draw, and a few pennies less than the daymaker. Anyone running one of these yet that can give some feedback?

The website makes no mention of warranty plus you also have to purchase as special adopter for 2014-15 models. That's a lot of money to spend with little or no recourse should an issue develop.

I (me) would need more info and test documentation before switching.

WTH, life is about taking chances, right? I went ahead and bought one. I talked to Jim at Zees about some of the issues raised here. There is a 1 year warranty on the light ( same as Daymaker) and although I did not ask him to send me any reports on the testing, he stated that a good amount of money was spent on testing and getting accurate output readings. The light is also serviceable according to his Facebook page. I'm not sure if the Daymaker or Evo are, and I'm sure some will be skeptical of that, and rightfully so.

The comparison video looks like this light gets rid of some, if not most of the "dead" area to the sides, that the Daymaker suffers from. I have a friend who has the Daymaker on his SG and can't wait to do a comparison. Stayed tuned boys and girls.

Blues, in reference to the adapter, unless I have missed something in my readings, and maybe it's only applicable to certain model years, but doesn't the switch to LED, whether it be the Daymaker of Evo require the adapter?

I see you have the 15 so yes you will need the wiring harness to change it back to a single 3 prong plug from the 2 plugs that are in there now.

Yeah, I knew that already, and Zees site mentions it. Blues comment seemed as though he was saying that having to get the adapter was an added step to use that light (compared to switching to a different brand) unless I read it wrong. And if I read it wrong, I sincerely apologize.

That is quit alright I was just making sure before you get the light and have to wait for the harness lol. There is another thread on here where someone owns and 11 SG and got the harness but doesn't need it so just me being over helpful I guess.

I saw that, but I already have it waiting at the dealer for me, with a few other parts. Any help on here is appreciated. I just made the jump to the SGS from an '04 Fatboy, so it's time to start learning all over again.
