I have a question for everyone that has changed their front fender to a "wrapper" style front fender. I ordered the Klock Werks Slicer front fender and I'm waiting for it to be painted for my 17 SGS. Has anyone had a difference in buffeting, either better or worse? The new fender is a lot narrower and sits closer to the fender, so I'm wondering if it changes anything, maybe fuel economy, or buffeting? Or maybe I'm just overthinking things. Thanks.

I have one and haven't noticed any difference. Make sure to check your clearance when you put it in a wheel chock though, it can hit.

No I was lucky and had two guys watching when I pulled on the lift.

Same here. I put one on my Road King and noticed nothing different except look.

Thanks. Yes is the Harley Wrap Around Fender designed for the 19" wheels.

yea, u are absolutely overthinking things... ain't no way you'd ever feel the difference of changing a fender or getting better/worse MPG. Unless you're running Bonneville, then maybe lol.

It's been raining a lot in PA, I've been a little bored. LOL

After my little incident last weekend of getting run off the road, and now needing a new front fender, I'm thinking of going that route. I like the looks of the Klockwerks....but even the Harley fender looks good too.

Make sure to post some pics when done, I would like to see the bike. I think that set up looks amazing on bikes.
