How do I remove Molex connectors from handle bar controls to run wires inside bars?

I'm installing a Khromewerks Sweeper Narrow 2+2 set of bars on my 2015 SGS and want to run the control lines inside the bars. I was able to easily disassemble the large electronic throttle 6-pin connector and get it through the bars.... but I am totally stumped by the left and right control switches' smaller black 4-pin connectors that go under the fairing. I have to remove these in order to snake those lines inside the bars, but have no idea of how to remove the wire/pins from the housings. I've tried using paper clips and jeweler's screwdrivers to stick down in the holes above the female connectors and pushing and prying while pulling on the rear of the wire, but to no avail. I don't want to break these so I need help from the experts.

I pulled all mine with the connectors on. Taped them up good to a pull wire and used a little grease

The connectors will not fit through the two holes that Khromewerks drilled into the bars. And they designed this set of bars for the the SG.

I tried to call KW today, but guess what... they don't work on Fridays.

Your best bet is to enlarge the holes just enuf to fit the connectors....clean the edges really good as well

I was shown how to remove the wire pins using a sharp metal dental pick. Push the wire from the rear towards the front to provide space for moving the internal catch, then insert the sharp pick from the front riding it along the top of the metal square female fitting until you feel it hit the internal catch. Pick up the internal catch and then pull the wire from the rear. It should then come out. I was easily able to remove the pins from the two 4-pin connectors and the single wire from the 2-pin connector.

I really like the swept back Khromewerks Sweeper Narrow 2+2 bars (#300519). I'm 5' 8" and this made the bike finally fit me. I can now ride in a relaxed position instead of reaching forward.

I have this nice little tool kit just for taking those connectors apart
