Has anyone seen a post to trouble shoot the HD auxiliary lamps and signals?

I completed the installation of new lamps with the turn signals and all looks great. However, everything works except the auxiliary lamps. Turn signals work, headlight works low and high beam, switch works but no lamps.

I thought I saw a posting about this but I don't seem to be able to locate it.

Are the lamps good? Nothing beats troubleshooting something to find out you had a bad component from the start!! Get your trusty multimeter out and check for voltage in the wire going to the lamp, or the socket after taking the bulb out. If you have voltage, then it's gonna be a ground issue. No voltage, you're going to want to check your connections, make sure the wire you're hooked to has voltage in it...fuse?

I could be wrong, but doesn't that require the dealer to turn them on? Or is it just if you want them to work with the high beams? Otherwise I would start with what corey45k suggested.

Thanks guys. I went over the whole install once again and I did check all of your suggestions. The only thing I can figure is the flash. None of the instructions mention a flash. That would have been a nice piece to mention..

The flash is needed if you want to keep the aux lamps on with high beam.

Had mine done a while back. Takes about 5 mins with the Digital Tech, I just hated them going off

I have a 2011
SG and installed the auxillary lights myself after I bought the bike. As I recall, part of the install involves installing a couple of 12 volt lead pins in the deusch plug connector inside the fairing. I remember these are kind of a pain to get pushed in correctly. Maybe check those to see if they are seated properly.

You are correct. I didn't get the ground in the left lamp crimped quite right and came loose. Fried both diodes. Good News is the dealer warranted the lamps.
