fly by wire pin removal, different connector for 2016?

Installing 12" bars on my 2016. Did the job in my mind before I started and it was nice and easy. Only thing is the fbw connector looks smaller than 2015 and I can not see how to remove the pins so I can pull the wires? Can not use prior examples as the connector does not look the same. Have not been able to locate any details.
Anyone have any clues on this.

I can answer this question now. Pull with connectors left on. Silicone spray dry wax worked much better than grease. No longer sweating bullets.
I will put the new bars on tomorrow.
