Looking for some input on extending my bags. I was thinking 2 in extensions to make flush with fender... Definitely a winter project but would love some feedback.
Thanks

I would buy stretched bags and fender. You wouldn't even notice 2" stretch, lot of work for little pay off. I would buy 4.5" stretched bags and fender

I see that a lot on bikes. What would a conversion like cost?

Thank you for your replies. My reason for the 2 in was for riding. Will the 4 in ext. hit the ground on turns? I'm assuming they will and I don't wanna give up the way I ride for looks... Thoughts??

No they won't. You can corner fine with 4". I have 8" on all my bikes with no issues.

If you are concerned about dragging the bags, you can always purchase some skid plates to go on the bottom of them. In the event that you do lean it low enough to drag, these will keep the bag itself from dragging.

Exactly look at the bags most do not go below the pipes so unless you are dragging pipes its hard to do unless you have a air ride and you have it set very low.
