Hello everybody,

I am new to the site and have an issue with my bike.

I just traded off my 2012 Road King on a new 2014 Street Glide Special. It came with Screaming Eagle Cannons. I put a Stage 1 air cleaner from Fuel Moto and the Power Vision map for this configuration.

The bike has a 'popping' noise from the right exhaust during a cold start up. The exhaust air is cold compared to the left exhaust air. Once up to operating temperature the popping goes away. This popping has been there before and after the upgrade map. I was hoping the new map would take care of it.

I have emailed Fuel Moto to get their opinion on it. Also asking if they have a map for this issue.

I thought I would the masses if anybody has had this problem before.

Thanks,

I have the same exhaust and air cleaner. The HD download tune does not have this problem with cold starts. If it's really cold out (Minnesota) I do let the bike idle a bit before riding.

Hulkss,

Can you tell me how you got the HD download and from who?

Is it using the Power Vision?

I haven't heard back from Fuel Moto yet. I probably will need to call them.

Thanks,

It's a Harley part number at the dealer. Mine was part # 41000210/DT. They just load it into the factory engine control module (ECM).
