So I shipped my heads to porting service on 3/10. Tracking number showed no arrival yet ("In transit") on Monday, 3/21, so I called shipper. I was told that my shipment was delayed, and someone from "claims" (that didn't sound good) would contact me on Tuesday, 3/11. Never heard from anyone. Called Wed. morning. Long agonizing story SHORT!!

F O R K L I F T! ! ! "accident"!!!!!
My claim has been submitted.

Well that sucks but if you get full retail on them that might be enough to buy some nice aftermarket heads or head work and save you a little bit of money

I'm going to try and determine my options. They sent me a form that I used to described what the items were for and asked me to determine value value and how I planned to replace the items. They have been very nice about the whole thing (called me 6 times already) and let me know that "inconvenience" was in fact part of the claim...on top of actual value. My claims rep's husband rides an Ultra.

****ty deal, now hopefully they dont take 6 months to approve the claim......

Claim settled. 7:48PM tonight. I'm pleased with outcome. Got a little extra for "inconvenience" and "other remedy". I should have a check by Friday afternoon. Scary at first. They handled it with class. I had paid for $1500 in contents insurance, anyway, but they went above and beyond. Very quick. I'll probably order a complete set of OEM cylinder heads next week.

I would get the MVA heads from H-D, and leave them alone as far as porting goes.

So I shipped my heads to porting service on 3/10. Tracking number showed no arrival yet ("In transit") on Monday, 3/21, so I called UPS. I was told that my shipment was delayed, and someone from "claims" (that didn't sound good) would contact me on Tuesday, 3/11. Never heard from anyone. Called Wed. morning. Long agonizing story SHORT!! ...My heads (BOTH) were damaged in shipping. UPS sent them on to porting service for inspection per my instructions. Today I learn heads are damaged beyond repair.

There is a lot of brainless ****tards driving forklifts. I have been a warehousemen for 13 years and have scratched my head a far to many times wondering how the hell did you manage to do that. I had one guy drive into a brand new trailer and raise the forks through the roof of the trailer. Yah there's the door don't come back.
