CD LED Directional Question

Upgrading to the led, does the dynamic rings on the front actually make a difference for night driving? Or are the just for show? From what I have read, it should be just a plug and play kit for the 2016 SG.

Just put the complete cd kit with plasma rods on last night, nice and bright in the rear!! I haven't had a chance for a road test, but I don't think the rings in the front are going to add much light to the road. I believe they are going to make you more visible, but not help you see better. Just my 2cents

Dynamic rings don't make much difference at night but they make you a lot more visible day and night.

What Crumb said....I have em and they are definitely more visible to others. I put the amber lens on and I think they are even more visible...and bright.

The Dynamic rings weren't meant as replacements for the Aux lights. But a whole lot brighter than the stock OEM bulbs HD provides (Give em 10 years and they'll finally make them standard!). lol

Concur with all comments. Had front and rear installed at Daytona this year at the Custom Dynamics tent. Not for lighting, but great for more visibility. I went with clear (F) and red (R) lens. Now for the headlight...... Any thoughts on HD Daymaker projector and reflector options and any after market like Custom Dynamics Trubeam?

I have a 12 street glide & used the triple play module. Cd supplied the posi-taps and the plasma rod wires connect right at the module with the posi-taps. Chris
