I got a Daymaker LED off a brother who wanted chrome instead of black. I got it for $250.

My SGS has a dual halogen, I found out that there is a wiring harness specific for converting from the dual halogen to the LED.

COVER YOUR FRONT FENDER WITH A TOWEL FIRST!

1. Take out the headlight trim and retaining ring.
2. Remove the Halogen headlight and unplug both hi and low beam connectors.
3. Locate the main headlight connector

4. Use a flathead screwdriver and slide it off the plastic clip holding it... unplug it.

Here they are original and new...

5. Plug the new harness into the main harness and attach it back to the gray clip.

6. Plug in the Daymaker, re-install the retaining ring and headlight trim.... done!

By the way.... The 14's DO NOT need a new or different mounting ring.... I was told I needed one, but I didn't.

NOTE*** If you have a GDO that hooks up to the hi beam like I do... the Blue/White wire is the Hi Beam... NOT the Blue/ Yellow

Can you post a pic of how the light looks at night?

Thanks blkbrd...

Next on the list is the Custom Dynamics LED turns... DRL style for the front and plain red for the rear... Can't beat the pricing on them for $150 a complete set.

Spazz, this may help:
There is a HD upgrade Tri-bar light module that also adds brake light capability to the lower fender model# 67774-10
And the all new Custom Dynamics front and rear LED turn/tail/brake lights with Red Lenses for rear and Smoked for front.
A couple of notes here, you must use/select their factory looking lenses to make room for the plug and play light kits. They went on
(all 4) in about 15 minutes and you do NOT need the old transformer for the 2014 Touring models. What is really cool besides the
much brighter stock bulbs is; the amber front parking lamps have a clear outer ring of lights that act like mini auxiliary running
lights when your not using the turn signals. Kit numbers are: GEN 200R-1157 for rear (Red lenses).
and for the front GEN 200AW-1157 (smoke lenses). The people there were great to work with +++++.

Everything you said is what I am doing minus the Tribar... and smoked lens all the way around.... I have the smoked now and love the way it looks. The reason for wanting smoked... I am adding plasma rods next.

Thanks Mojo....

Mojo-

I like the taillight... but its not for me.... plasma rods are my choice. I just wish I had a good visual on the difference between the smoked and red... can't really find a good pic.

The Tribar would be a nice upgrade as well, thanks for the link....
