Hey All!

Just got finished installing 10" Yaffe's on my '15 SGS. I re-calibrated the ThunderMax ECU, started her up but the throttle seems stuck and the RPMs shoot-up to 5500.

Could the TBW wires be disconnected inside my bars or is it something else?

Thank you!

If the tbw is clipped inside the bars you will get an engine light.
Are you getting an engine light code?
The code will be limited performance (limp mode)

Yes. The engine light is ON.

I guess I'm starting over! :(

Thank you!
Check the code before you start over. I've been where your at, nothing more agravating than tearing it apart, thinking you fixed it and get the same result. There is a way to read the codes yourself by using the switches on the bars. If you have not done it before I'm sure someone can chime in and walk you through it... @spazz

Gotcha. Thank you!

If someone could advise on how to check the code via switches, I'd greatly appreciate!

Chad just got me here...

Holding the power button in on your head unit... turn the ignition on.. keep holding it... hit accept screen then let go... scroll to DTC and press it... codes will display

Did you happen to unpin your TBW? You may have incorrectly set the pins in the molex connector... with opening of plug facing away from you and release on top....

top row left to right is
GREY, PURPLE, RED

bottom row left to right is
BLACK, BLUE, BROWN

Like this orientation

Yes. I did unpin the molex connector. I'm pretty sure the pin placement is correct, but will check when I get back to the house and I will also check the code. I had to run a few errands.

Make sure the pins are fully seated as well as being correct
