On my 09 I put 12" kst mayhems. Which look yaffe monkey bars. But I ran all wires and extended everything. Took for a rip for the first time sense I bought the bike. And cruise control. I don't know if it worked prior to installing bars or not because I bought it over the winter. Does any one have any ideas?? I checked the wires from set/acceleration button on controls to the connector with my volt meter and they are just fine and switch is working. Thanks in advance for any help.

Does the 6th gear indicator light come on? If not, I would check to make sure that your clutch lever isn't constantly triggering the clutch sensor.

Yes. The 6th gear indicator does show up when I hit 6th gear. That was one of my thoughts. But yes that indicator works and the brake light switch works to because the brake lights don't stay on. And now that I think about it I didn't really test the actual switch. Does anyone know the wore colors going that cruise switch on the right hand side of the bars?? Because then ill check at the connector when im holding it in whatever position.
There ya go! One of the wires might not have been making a perfect connection, could've just knocked it back into place.
