Going to be putting these on my bike here in a few days do I need new break and clutch cables? I'm sure it will be tight. But figured I would ask first.

12" don't require new lines... only thing you will need is 8" NAMZ extensions for hand controls.... TBW is long enuf

Thanks spazz! you the man! i ordered the 8" namz extensions from my other thread asking a bunch of questions. finally fixing to get off the ship and can't wait to get all of my goodies installed! Thanks again

Does the use of the original lines with 12" twin peaks also hold true for Street Glide Specials with ABS? When I was calling around for estimates i was told that new lines would be needed.

No new lines needed. Spazz is on point with his recommendation. I installed 12" Twin Peaks on my 2014 Street Glide Special and all I ordered was the 8" NAMZ extensions for hand controls.

Josey, do you have a pic of the twin peaks installed?

Is it the same with the 2012 street glides? My 10" twin peaks came in yesterday. I'm about to order the NAMZ hand control extensions tonight.

I installed my 10" black twin peaks but now my throttle side grip drags on the bar. It has enough drag that I don't even need to use the cruise control function. I took the grip off and put a light coating of silicone grease on the bar, that helped a little but not like it should be. Any suggestions??

I had an issue similar to this when I installed my 15" Burly's with Avon grips. While riding at cruising throttle, when I let go to decelerate, it would stick and stay open. All I did was loosen the switch housing a little, and pull it towards the end of the bar just a hair so there was just a minute amount of slop in and out with the grip. Problem solved!!

I had that same problem on my bar install, my grip was not properly seated on the tps twist barrell at the end of the bar.
